Full job description
We are currently seeking a diligent and versatile General Worker to join our team in the automotive industry. We are based near Wynberg in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks within our workshop, including cleaning duties, operating machinery such as a band saw and drill press, and assisting in the packaging of products for retail sale.
Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and organized workshop environment.
Operate a band saw and drill press under supervision to assist in various manufacturing tasks.
Packaging of products for retail sale, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Perform other general tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate machinery such as a band saw and drill press (training will be provided).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
A valid driver’s license would be an advantage.
